We need a new workspace for AI

Idea

an Infinite canvas + database for creators to seriously put AI into their everyday workflow

this is what I have in mind, so we've built Fabrie

The problem with current AI tools

Now let me explain why:
I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one annoyed by the user interface of AI tools these days.

I mean, generating pictures and iterating over is very hard in current tools we have. For text generator, it's the same problem.

When I use ChatGPT or Jasper, I often have to scroll up and search desperately for the ideas I've generated before.

When I generate pictures, or do editing as changing backgrounds/objects or cropping using current AI tools, I'll always need to download, organize them somewhere else and come back again for further work.

In other words, it's hard to organize all the ideas and see the bigger picture.

It'll be great if there's a place to see and organize all these graphics, text and ideas at once.

Solution

A place where we can generate graphics, all while we brainstorm, iterate and edit these graphics(change background/objects, cropping etc), even training our own AI

an infinite canvas

So, we've built Fabrie
an infinite canvas + database integrated with AI
The workspace for creators to really use AI in everyday work

Pretty cool idea! Good luck with it.

thanks, let me know if you'd like to give it a try

The idea seems cool. You can build an integration which people can integrate with any AI tool they use. If I'll be one of your prospective customers I'll ask for a very focused and basic tool for the workspace just to organise all my AI stuff and not another tool with some AI magic!

      Yes exactly,
and we have a database to organize numbers and prompts if that comes in handy

if you wish to try out Fabrie, you can use the code: ZXGH
      to sign up here https://www.fabrie.com/signup

email me at [email protected] after you've registered so I can open the AI features for you

I like the interface, though I think due to switching costs, people might like this better as a figma plugin. Maybe that can be on your itinerary soon.

Which AI do you use for the image generation btw? Mainly asking because I recently launched Evoke, and we host a cheap and fast stable diffusion API at the moment, with more AI models coming in the future.

Also have an active AI discord as well: https://discord.gg/dXJtarPsCm

omg, just saw this, sure, will definitely check it out!
I think there might be some cooperation between us there!
      ----------

There're some bigger difference between Fabrie and Figma actually (though not so obvious now)

Figma is a tool where people do design, while Fabrie is the workspace where people import Figma, Illustrator and CAD file to manage design project.

Fabrie has a database right inside the canvas, which should come very handy for industrial, fashion and interior designers when they're managing the design manufacturing process and do task management.

For web & UI design, Fabrie might just look like a FigJam with AI
But for all designers and creators as a whole, Fabrie is a workspace to collaborate and manage design project, with AI

Therefore, Fabrie is actually not a place to do design, like Figma

Instead, we expect designers to do design somewhere else in Figma, Illustrator or CAD, and thanks to the design of Canvas + Database, Fabrie is the workspace where people import all design files, manage design project and collaborate with marketing and manufacturing

I see how it's different from Figma now.

And yes, would love to co-operate! Believe I DMd you on Twitter.
