Our team specializes in data filtering, helping clients filter user profile pictures and nicknames corresponding to phone numbers on different platforms, such as TikTok and WhatsApp. We check if a phone number has an account on these platforms, and we also look at the corresponding user profile picture and nickname. This is a sustainable, long-term business. We need skilled reverse engineers to implement these API queries. Our business involves continuously filtering phone numbers across various platforms. The functionality is simple, easy to maintain, and profitable. Interested technical personnel can contact me on Telegram: https://t.me/lucky125808
This resonates a lot. I'm building out of a small coastal town in Brazil, not a hub by any stretch, and the "kneel to Tech Lords for access" line is exactly the friction I feel every time I look at where deal flow and mentorship actually concentrate.
To your question: right now I find co-founders and peers almost entirely through async, high-signal spaces like this one, plus open source contributions. A merged PR or a working demo tells people more about how I think and ship than a badge or a 2-minute pitch ever could. What would make a local hub valuable to me isn't more mixers, it's structured problem-first cohorts like you described, where matching happens on what people can actually build together, not who they already know.
On the AI-matching piece specifically, that's close to work I do day to day, RAG pipelines, agent orchestration, real-time workflow automation (n8n, GHL, Retell). Curating "who should talk to whom" at an event is really a retrieval + ranking problem dressed up as a networking one, and it's very solvable with the right embeddings and a bit of honest guardrails against noisy matches.
Would be glad to compare notes on the technical architecture if useful, even outside a formal co-founder conversation. What's your current thinking on how the matching engine decides relevance, explicit tags/interests, or something more behavioral?
How about salary?
