Hello founders and indie hackers,
I’m currently building a service for people creating apps, SaaS products, digital tools, or online businesses who want to reach a new market without spending a large amount on ads or hiring a local agency.
The idea is simple.
Many founders already have a product that works in their home country or in a specific niche.
However, they often never test it in other markets.
I think that is a huge missed opportunity.
The problems your users have probably do not exist only in your own country.
If your product truly solves a problem, there may also be people in other countries who need it.
That is why I created Reach Japan Lab.
Many people think about bringing their content to overseas markets. The first options that usually come to mind are ads, agencies, VPNs, or local SIM cards.
However, ads and agencies are very expensive. VPNs and SIM-based methods are also complicated and unstable. In recent years, platform restrictions have become stronger, and I believe overseas reach using VPNs will become less effective over time.
We receive content from overseas and upload it from real local devices in Japan. This allows us to deliver content to the Japanese market in a more reliable and affordable way.
It offers a level of affordability and certainty that ads or VPN-based methods often cannot provide.
In addition, Reach Japan Lab includes Japanese subtitles and Japanese narration as part of the service. This means clients only need to send us their content, and we help them reach customers they could not reach before.
Japan is also an interesting market because, in many fields, trends arrive 1–2 years later than in the US or other English-speaking markets.
This means that for some apps, SaaS products, and product ideas, Japan may still be a market with less competition and strong potential demand.
Instead of spending a lot of money on ads, agencies, or building a dedicated Japanese team, you can test the Japanese market in a much simpler and more affordable way.
This service may be useful for people who:
If your product is already working in your home market, it may be worth testing it in another market where competition is still lower.
You do not need to rebuild everything from scratch.
The only thing you change is where your content is posted.
I would love to hear your honest feedback on this service.
