We’re building LEMAI CRM because too many leads are lost after the first conversation

One thing we kept noticing while looking at sales workflows was surprisingly simple:

Businesses don't always lose leads because they don't have enough leads. They lose them because follow-ups get missed.

A customer makes an enquiry. Someone speaks to them. A WhatsApp conversation happens. A meeting is scheduled. A note gets written somewhere.

Then the conversation gets buried.

The salesperson forgets to follow up. The manager doesn't have visibility. And eventually, a potential customer disappears from the pipeline.

That's one of the problems we're trying to solve with LEMAI CRM.

LEMAI brings the sales journey into one place — from lead capture and stage management to calls, WhatsApp conversations, tasks, meetings, marketing, proposals, targets, and reporting.

We're also using AI to reduce some of the manual work around CRM management.

For example, LEMAI can:

  • Summarize sales notes

  • Identify tasks and meetings from notes

  • Generate a complete lead summary

  • Give Hot / Warm / Cold conversion insights

  • Transcribe call recordings

  • Help teams automate lead assignments and follow-ups

  • Turn CRM data into dashboards and reports

The idea isn't to add another complicated system for sales teams to maintain.

We want the CRM to do more of the work itself.

We're still learning a lot about what sales teams actually need, which workflows create the most friction, and where AI can genuinely save time instead of becoming another feature people ignore.

I'd love to hear from other founders and builders here:

What's the biggest problem you've faced with your CRM or sales follow-up process?

Is it lead organization, missed follow-ups, WhatsApp conversations, reporting, automation, or something else?

We're building LEMAI around these problems, so honest feedback would be incredibly useful.
