Right now, I’m building something different in Orlando.
It’s not another app. Not another newsletter. And definitely not another guru funnel promising to “10X your business in 3 days.”
It’s called the Pulse Portal, and while it’s still in development, the early signals are promising.
At its core, it’s a local-first media and discovery hub powered by automation, AI, and community contribution. You don’t browse it, you talk to it. You ask questions, and it guides you. The goal is simple:
Make local feel close again.
Why We're Building It
Most local businesses are invisible unless you already know them. Most consumers are overwhelmed or distracted by platforms that don’t actually serve local communities. And most entrepreneurs are left duct-taping together tools and social platforms to reach people who want to support them, but can’t find them.
The Pulse Portal is our early answer to that.
Here’s what we’re exploring:
A smart local assistant (built with AI) that connects people to what’s happening nearby
A spotlight on “Local Heroes” the people and businesses who make their community better
A media-driven experience that gives visibility without forcing people to become content creators
And a backend system designed to scale city-by-city, without losing the human element
We’re Testing It First in Orlando
The prototype is live. Conversations are happening. And we’re starting to see momentum, but this is still idea validation mode.
That’s why I’m sharing this now, not after it’s polished or packaged.
Because what we’re building will only work if it’s built with the people it’s for.

Big Picture: It’s Not Just a Portal. It’s a Pattern.
The Pulse Portal is a template for smarter cities, a local intelligence system that can scale without becoming soulless.
Or maybe it’s just a good idea that needs to be tested, broken, and rebuilt a few times before it’s ready.
Either way, I’m building it. And you’re invited to shape it or participate if you can add value.
