We’re trying to fix broken freelance payments without a marketplace.

Hey everyone,

I’m building something called SafeLink because I got burned on both sides of freelance work.

As a client, I hired a marketing agency, paid upfront, got just enough work to feel safe… and then they disappeared.

As a service provider, I’ve also done real work for clients who ghosted, delayed, or never paid.

What I realized is this:

Most freelance deals today happen in DMs, WhatsApp, referrals, and emails.
Not on Upwork or Fiverr.

But those off-platform deals have zero protection.
No dispute system
No safety net

So we’re building SafeLink as a trust and payment-protection layer that sits under those relationships instead of replacing them.

Clients and freelancers keep working how they already do.
We just make sure the money is protected.

We’re still early and testing this with real users.
