We realized we were spending too little time on headlines

While working on publishing workflows in JustBlogged, one thing became obvious:

Most of the effort goes into writing the article.

Very little goes into writing the headline.

But the headline determines whether anyone gives the article a chance.

We've started treating headlines as part of the writing process rather than something added at the end.

I'm curious: how do you approach headlines?

Do you write them first, last, or keep refining them until you're happy?
