We replaced Excel for MSME factory operations — here’s what we learned building Optiwise

Most MSME and manufacturing teams still run critical factory operations on Excel, WhatsApp, and manual coordination.

While speaking to teams on the shop floor, we kept seeing the same problems:
• No real-time visibility
• Delays in production planning
• Inventory mismatches
• Constant follow-ups between teams

So we started building Optiwise to explore one core question:

👉 How can factory operations (inventory, production, sales, purchase) run with clarity and real-time visibility?

Instead of building another dashboard, we’re experimenting with AI agents that can:
• Track inventory across workflows
• Assist in production planning
• Improve coordination between teams
• Reduce dependency on Excel and manual processes

The goal is not just automation, but better decision-making on the shop floor.

We’re still early and actively learning from real factory use cases.

Would genuinely love feedback from:
• MSME owners
• Manufacturing teams
• Anyone working in operations

If you’ve faced similar challenges (or even think we’re approaching this wrong), I’d really appreciate your thoughts.
