We started a robo advisor that builds customized pure stock portfolios at scale!

https://www.emperorinvests.com/

I'm the CTO of Emperor Investments. We're building a platform that constructs pure stock portfolios from scratch and buys each company individually for our clients.

We're striving to merge the tailored portfolios usually reserved for High-net-worth individuals with the convenience and affordability of a robo-advisor like Wealthfront.

    Hello Tornike. Great work.
    A couple of thoughts.
First, I put I wanted to invest 0-5yrs and hit a 404. I just wanted to go through the motions. Maybe give an option or some recommendations. Maybe a reason why you want to invest for longer.
Second, what places Emperor apart from the other robo-advisors that seem to do the same thing?
Why would I place my money into Emperor compared to those top 2 robo advisors that come to mind.
Seems like you do the same thing. I think the others might be cheaper. They're better known. So, why would I want Emperor Investments?
Is there a way to login EmperorInvestments and not FolioClient?
I know the other robo advisors allow you to check your account straight through.
I feel like that makes a huge difference for legitimacy.
I would start looking into Folio Client and wanting to place my money straight with them.
Third, doesn't seem too personalized. Maybe that's a way you could stand out. What if I don't want to invest in tobacco companies? It was automatically put in my portfoilio.

Hope it helps a bit. Let me know if you have any questions.

Hi Isaac! Thanks for this thoughtful response. You make a good point on the 0-5yrs question.

The differentiator we have compared to other robos is that we construct portfolios from individual stocks, we don't mix and match ETFs. So each of our clients has a separate account holding the specific stocks we choose for them. This means we've vertically integrated two spaces – the product creation (companies like BlackRock) and product distribution (companies like WealthFront).

When you log in to Emperor Investments, it's completely separate than Folio. We give clients access to Folio since they are the custodian.

We are working to build that exact feature now, and plan to have it launch by the end of June :) You beat us to it.

      Thanks again!
