I think the most important part is having an audience and a great product.
Yep... the #1 thing I outlined was having an existing audience :)
It's a true cheat code for launching (and succeeding) on PH.
Sure it's nice to have a chance to put a banner on your website and slides that you're #1 on PH, but how much of actual traction did you gain from this?
Btw... 2nd place Salesforge's initial tractions seems way to linear, doesn't it? :)
