Web tool with 5k/month visitors. Looking for an opportunist.

Marketing partner here if you need one Corey. Love what you've done so far, but we could work together to rival Toggl.

I would not recommend monetizing it with ads.

Why? I assume that your users are using your website to concentrate and get work done.

Advertisements will distract them (also most ads are annoying). If you're wandering how much you can make with ads. Here is an estimation -- I have a website with ~6k pageviews/mo that makes around $40/mo using Google Adsense.

Instead I would focus on giving users what they are after - a distraction-free environment that facilitates deep work.

Create a simple feature to recreate the "library experience".

It can be a membership website where you charge a monthly or yearly fee.

Ads van work if done in a nice way. You can create 3-4 spaces at the bottom section and sell that space for per month fee. It could appeal to other productivity startups/companies and since its native it won't degrade the user experience. The caveat is you need to do the reaching out to the companies.

Do you know where your users come from and do you have any demographic data?

Ads isn't a good idea IMHO.

Here are a few ideas on top of my mind:

• Can you imagine a premium version of it?
• Why not adding a buymecoffee button (or any other donation tool)
• You can use this traffic to grow your audiend (on twitter?)
• Create a course about productivity and sell it?
• Start a community?
