A question for people launching new products: how do you build your websites? I know this is a controversial topic due to the various reasons involved in choosing one method.
Are you using templates or designing from scratch?
Are you opting for no-code tools or full-code solutions?
I went with WordPress on SiteGround with the full site editor. No page builders, no fancy themes, just Gutenberg blocks and some custom CSS.
I know a lot of people here love no-code tools like Framer or Webflow, and they're great for speed. But I wanted full control over performance and SEO from day one. With WordPress I can add custom HTML blocks for interactive elements, control every meta description, and I'm not locked into anyone's pricing tiers.
The real lesson I learned is that the website itself matters way less than people think in the early days. I spent too long tweaking fonts and button colors when I should have been writing content and driving traffic. Nobody is going to land on your site and leave because the hero section isn't perfect. They leave because the content doesn't answer their question or the value isn't clear.
My advice - pick whatever you can ship fastest with, get something live, then spend your energy on what actually moves the needle. You can always redesign later when you have real data on what visitors actually do on your site.
