I absolutely resonate with the idea of documenting one's journey. It's a great step forward to build a personal narrative that helps show our vision better to our potential customers.
I like how the blog post page is setup, it's minimal and has less clutter.
The weekly email club also a distinct vibe to it. Love the placement.
The confusing thing is the login CTA. It's a personal blog. You don't need users to login to access the content.
I would also suggest to make the copy more incentivized towards the beginner audience that will resonate with you. One change would be change the copy of SUBSCRIBE NOW CTA button to something like Get free copywriting tips or something. You get the idea.

The featured images for stories are inconsistent: some are illustrations and some are stock photos. I'd pick one. The illustrations seem pretty amateurish, so I'd recommend photos.
