    Spring Fever is RIGHT!
Been a busy week. I keep thinking I can start this routine up again but it keeps dropping down the list. Trying to balance distractions against a too-full plate lately.

    • (Agency) Get first contract complete with good reaction and results.
    • (Product) Get AutomatedApi to an ALPHA ready state.
I've changed my tune a bit in terms of aggressiveness of the release of AutomateApi.com as a product. My day job is at a potentially big customer so I've decided to focus more on building content around it and completing the product so I can hit the ground running and build a consulting business around it.

    • (Agency) Replace full time job with steady contract work and enlist at least one partner developer.
    • (Product) Release with 5 paying customers

    • (Agency) Reached out to customer
    • (Agency) fixed several bugs and completed hooking up new upload logic to project management API
    • (Agency) Scheduled meeting to begin transition of a business acquisition into the portfolio
    • (Product) tested generated service to make sure it would natively compile before implementing the deployment pipeline

-(Agency) Demo and Review with customer
-(Agency) Lay out next week of work and contract wrap-up conditions
    -(Agency) Begin asset transition

@Harlem and @helengriffinjr for keeping the train rolling while the rest of us dropped the ball.

Are congrats in order re business acquisition?

      1. 1

        Maybe :P
Pondering how best to make the announcement.

  2. 3

Just popping in to say I love you guys! In all seriousness, had unexpected out of state court prep and appearances, so I'm big time in a rabbit hole.

Looking forward for this rough patch to end! Highly doubtful I will get to anything today except maybe some late night planning.

KUDOS: @helengriffinjr for holding down the daily stand up with me!

Hot damn, that's a list. I dig your style, the specificity of your lists the last couple weeks seems to have helped make you a lot more productive.

      1. 1

(Laughing!) Thanks! Specificity ain't a choice. After work, I don't have the willpower to figure out what to do. I let the stand up spoon feed me.

        1. 1

Oh I totally get that, specificity in task definitions is maybe the best way to get started on a task when you're running out of self-starting juice in the after hours down time.
