No singular goal to accomplish before the end of the year. My attention is (unfortunately) split between too many things.
Yesterday I gave a talk at Hustle Con about idea validation. Putting it together definitely wasn't an efficient use of my time, but I had a lot of fun at the conference, and a few people told me they got more actionable advice from my talk than anything else, which was great to hear.
This morning I added a group selection dropdown in the post creator on IH. Now everyone should be able to post to any group from anywhere. There are lots more group-related features planned for the future, and @rosiesherry has been steadily adding and nurturing new groups every week.

I'm curious, is this just a growth goal or are you building a product?
Or is it perhaps that your blog is the product and you are building an audience?
@jpusateri that's a great question! This is mostly for my own edification. I hate bugs and I want to make sure I understand different ways to handle them so I can optimize for a global maxima in error handling, and in my limited experience I found functional programming to be a great tradeoff between system performance and developer velocity, so I'm exploring the quintessential pure functional programming language.
I'm taking the next six months off from work and looking to execute on some projects, and I have a private roadmap I'm working off of to address some personal pain points I discovered in the workplace. I don't really want to publicize it because I've done so before and hadn't executed and it was always embarrassing. Better to under-promise and over-deliver.
