during peak crypto bull mkts I find it helps me with creativity and problem solving but order execution is a complete disasister. Weed has its place in tech but it's not in the administration of massive protocols .

Honestly, I never understood the pleasure or the need to consume drugs. I have read a lot of reasons why people do that, and I still think this is a moral decision you can fight with. For example, I even read posts and articles about it on https://darkcatalog.com/asap-market/, and I still think it is wrong even to start consuming them. If you can't deal with everything in your life, you should better contact a specialist to help you with your struggles. Or, if you can't face all the challenges at work, speak with your boss and so on. There are always smarter ideas you can choose to do.

I know a few people at FAANG who are smoking a ton of weed, and most indie hackers I'm not sure where they stand on it.

It's somewhat expensive, so perhaps indies don't use it as often in the name of economics. Others, perhaps, are using it as a way to deal with the realities of being an entrepreneur. Wonder where most people here stand on it.

I'm pro weed, but I don't use it during the work day (at least not often). It slows down my ability to pivot between tasks, a key trait any indie usually needs as context switching is a given in this industry.

It's pretty wild to see how marijuana has been accepted and discussed in the tech industry. I think it's not a secret that a large amount of tech employees - from indie hackers to entry level workers - are curious or are acquainted about cannabis.

The real question is what is the impact of cannabis at work. There seems to be a consensus among tech workers that they are the type of people generally who can use cannabis to enhance their work, and the two compliment each other.

One thing the tech industry hasn't recognized is its reliance on uppers - adderal, focalin, ect. I think thats more of an issue than cannabis, but you be the judge.
