πŸ’¬ Week 2 Discussion: Paid channels, what works for you? (+ my metrics)

Hello again, IHers! So, the first weeks of the year always feel like the right time to reassess your efforts, specially the ones that you've kept in autopilot for a while, right?

Well, this week I've been checking on the performance of multiple channels and I run into the Top.gg Ad spending for our product, Dailybot, turns out:

  • been spending around $500 monthly here
  • on a quiet month like Dec, we got a median of 3870 impressions with a 10% CTR
  • on the product side, this resulted in over 200+ new orgs (teams) signed up from this channel β€” some of them might've converted already but haven't checked that out yet (the conversion cycle takes a while in some B2B spaces like ours), but overall, it's not a bad option for something that's certainly not optimized for business. (If you know top.gg, it's a directory full of anime bots and whatnot, not very B2B SaaSy at all!)

Lesson here is: some underappreciated channels may surprise you! The key is to always try before ruling anything out. Just take our case as an example. So:

What paid channels have you tried lately and how's it going?
