Week 2: My journey to 1 Million Dollars. #MakerMillion

Today ends week 2 of my challenge to reach 1 Million Dollars in the bank by the time I'm 50.

Updates

  • This week was a bit unproductive, had a busy painting week and was mentally and physically not feeling great.
  • I have also been doing quite a few "trade" based jobs, so revenue is a bit low this week.
  • Will be ramping up with my mentor, so that will help keep things rolling.
  • Continue to evaluate revenue ideas.

I really only need to average $2,500 to $3,000 per week for the next 10 years to comfortably reach my goal and pay all my bills. With just my house painting company I’m pretty close to that, 1 million is very attainable. Assuming no disasters!

To Dos

  • Write an official blog post with announcement. (started)
  • Setup a "Ad Sponsorship" pricing / placement options. If anyone is interested in an "ad" spot on my blog posts, let me know and I can let you know directly when I am ready to do that.

Saved: $756

Remaining: $999,244.00

-$250 deposit from myself.

What would be your approach to saving 1 Million dollars in about 10 years?
