Week 6: A customer email that made my day (and shipped a feature in hours)
Got an email from a user this week that read:
"Could you add an option to send generated listings to eBay drafts instead of publishing live? I prefer to fill in all the item specifics and fine tune and edit photos in the eBay app. This would be so helpful!"
Shipped it the same day. When you check "Save as draft on eBay," we create the inventory item and offer on eBay but skip the final publish call — so it lands in your Seller Hub drafts ready to review.
This is the stuff I love about building in public. A real user, a real workflow need, and a feature that took hours not weeks because the eBayAPI naturally supports it.

Love this kind of story. Real user, real workflow, quick win.
That’s honestly what keeps motivation up when building solo. I try to squeeze in a couple of hours of development in the evenings after work and family time, and moments like that make it feel worth it.
When something that took just a few hours actually improves someone’s workflow, it’s a great reminder why building in public is so fun.
