Week update: went from 0 testimonials to 7, and 0 to 4 beta testers, in one afternoon — here's what actually worked

Quick update on the SEO Content Engine OS.

Last week: 0 testimonials, 0 beta testers on the full system, despite months of building.

This week: 7 testimonials, 4 people actively testing the full 7-module system.

What changed wasn't the product. It was outreach.

I'd been sending templated DMs — same message, 50 sends, only 4 replies.
Switched to referencing something specific from each person's actual
LinkedIn post before mentioning what I built. Same volume of effort,
completely different response rate.

The pattern that worked every time: reference something real about
them first, THEN mention the tool — never the other way round.

Also learned: my LinkedIn posts (94 impressions, 5 clicks) are
doing basically nothing compared to DMs. All real traction this
week came from 1:1 conversations, not broadcast content.

Next: following up with the 4 beta testers on full-system feedback,
then using that as the next round of proof once they report back.

Happy to share the exact DM structure if anyone's stuck on
cold outreach for their own project.

The interesting signal is that personalized outreach created movement where content distribution did not.

What would convince you that this is a scalable acquisition channel for the SEO Content Engine OS, rather than a founder-led tactic that works only at low volume?
