Hey everyone,
I’ve been recently thinking about how to showcase the open source search engine a friend and I have been working on called Typesense [1]. Separately, I've also been wondering if there's anything at all I can do to help people see all sides of common topics this election season (in the US).
Putting both these together, I came up with this: https://biden-trump-speeches-search.typesense.org/
This is a quick weekend project I put together that allows you to instantly search through speeches by Biden & Trump and see the results side-by-side. My thinking is that showing candidates' thoughts on a topic side-by-side will help people cut through all the divisive noise these days and see what the candidates have to say directly from the source.
Before I share it more broadly, figured I'll post it here and get some quick validation & feedback. What do you think?

I think that reaching out to the press/pitching this could get you some really good exposure. The press loves to cover topics everyone talks about.
