My "short" break from Eurotripr tasks due to deadlines at my 9-5 continued and have taken much more time than I'd anticipated. I've tried forgoing sleep, but I think I'm too old for that now or too out of shape to make this viable - and I shouldn't even if I could, I spent way to many years doing so.

Time for my kids end of year school activities and summer sports has increased and therefore time to spend on Eurotripr has taken another hit.

The above being said, and as little as I was able to get done this week, I STILL was able to

  • write and publish 3 articles on travel tips;
  • input data for country ratings for things like 'Family Friendly', 'Average Daylight Hours', 'Safety', 'Hospitality', 'Cleanliness' and more from users, other travelers, and quality of living sites;
  • promote the blog posts via Twitter and Reddit;
  • comment on multiple Reddit questions in various travel subs;
  • invite 3 people to do an interview on Eurotripr;
  • and identify 75 potential advertisers to reach out to for advertising on the site.

It feels like a very unproductive week, and I'm not out of the woods yet with my projects for my day job, not to mention increasing family and other obligations as the summer begins - I will be hosting in-laws next week - but I'm hoping to resume momentum this morning in some small ways and have more to report next week: more itineraries, more completed cities and attractions, more blog posts, and more youtube videos of travel tips to help people going to Europe this summer.

Still a long way to go. Good luck to everyone struggling with getting your project finished and out to the world. It's a grind. Keep at it!
