[Weekly Update] Launched my 1:1 program for wellness entrepreneurs

Summary: Launched my mentorship program, already have some good interest going. Setting aside the Grow with Confidence Challenge, I need to take a break to come back to it. New blog post: “What is Branding? +8 other terms you should know.” Goal: focus on one thing, not try to do allthethings.

I’m very excited to be launching my 1:1 mentorship program called Branding for Wellness. Essentially, it’s a 4 week program where I teach wellness centred entrepreneurs (coaches, nutritionists/dieticians, bloggers, etc.) how to build their personal brand.

The idea is that, as small business owners, they don’t need a huge, fancy branding strategy to grow their business. All they need is a look and feel that demonstrates their value & speaks to their buyers. In the program, I teach them how to

a) find their unique value and strengths (a.k.a. “genius zone”).

b) understand what their ultimate client’s biggest need is and how to position themselves as the best person to fix it.

c) find what style and tone best resonates with their audience (colours, fonts, etc.) and how to make them — without expensive, super tech-y design tools.

d) make a strategy to consistently show up with the right visuals & messaging in order to attract, establish trust, and connect with their ideal clients.

This is all done in 4-8 weeks (each part can be one or two weeks), 20 minutes a day.

Branding for Wellness also comes with a free year of iStock, 3 month of Desygner Premium, and 12 months of laser sessions (15 minute check ins). At the moment, I’m selling it for early bird special pricing (90%) off. This way, I can tweak the program as people are going through it & gradually bring the price up as it gets better.

I launched on Friday and so far I have one coach who has agreed to an affiliate partnership & one person interested in joining the program. There are 4 spots available. If anyone wants to check it out (dnca.ca/branding-for-wellness).

As for the Grow with Confidence Challenge, anyone who saw my post the other day will know what an adventure that was 😂 Summary: my copywriting needs to improve, big time. Taking a step away from this for a week or so, and I’ll come back to it with fresh eyes.

What I’m doing to support my growth

I took a free masterclass on how to do Facebook Ads. At this point I’m pretty comfortable with the logistics of ads, but it’s going to take some practise before I really finetune it.

I also learned more about how I can grow and utilize my mailing list. I recently learned about how to use tripwires to offset ad cost, so I’ll be experimenting with that as well (essentially, a tripwire is a low-ticket offer that comes up after someone has downloaded a freebie. This a. helps to pay for ad cost and b. helps you determine who is willing to buy from you).

My goal is to stop trying to do allthethings and actually focus on one thing: selling the program. I have one strategy that I am going to try for a month & see how it goes before I move on to the next one.

Organic outreach thru Facebook has still been the most effective marketing tool for me. I’ll be continuing to focus on that.
