Weird app ideas generated by GPT-3

Yesterday I wanted to test out how well can Ideabot (which uses GPT-3 and I manually select the ideas) come up with weird, funny & unique app ideas on its own, and the results were quite good (specifically #1 & #2)!

I'll list these 5 funny ideas below, if you don't want to miss any ideas that may help you get inspired to start your own project, subscribe to my newsletter for free.

1. MarketingBattle - Marketing Battle is a platform where users can test out their marketing skills by interacting with other users in a tournament-style format.

2. SongStumper - Guess the song based on a 1-second clip. SongStumper is an app that allows you to identify a song by listening to isolated instrumentals of it. It has a leaderboard where you can see how your scores compare to those of other players.

3. SketchSizer - A website that converts sketch files to code. If you have ever tried to hand off a sketch file with your designs to another engineer, it can be hard for them to interpret. SketchSizer will take a .sketch file and turn it into a simple web page.

4. Bag Snipes - A web extension that helps you save money by checking and comparing prices. It allows you to compare products on Amazon, Jet, Walmart, etc. You can also set a budget cap to receive alerts when the price of your desired product drops below what you are willing to pay.

5. Shrinkray - Shrink your images in one click to multiple dimensions like favicon, large and medium sizes. Web hosting can be expensive, so let Shrinkray do the work for you! With one click, Shrinkray will shrink your images quickly and easily. Images can be uploaded via drag-and-drop or by clicking an image on the page.
