Welcome to Indie Hackers! (Week of Nov 14th)

Channing here from Indie Hackers. Welcome! ๐Ÿ‘‹

Here's how to get the most out your time here.

Make the community a better place

Indie Hackers is for connecting with like-minded people who want to build profitable online businesses.

To get the most out of the community, try helping to make it a better place. You can do that by starting and participating in interesting discussions.

If you start by giving, the community is designed to reward you in return.

How to start discussions

Head over to the home page and click the "New Post" button.

If there's something on your mind that you think will get people talking, simply type it out. The shorter the better. It helps if you ask a clear question in the title, or if you express your opinion.

Alternatively, if you read something elsewhere on the internet, you can start a discussion around that, too. Try submitting it as a link post. Indie hackers love discovering interesting new articles.

Good luck!

This is just the tip of the iceberg. If you need help submitting your first link post or starting your first discussion, let me know in the comments below.

Otherwise, I'm excited to see you the forum! Feel free to introduce yourself to everyone below. ๐Ÿค—

Hey folks, long time lurker here. Been watching IH for years, huge fan of listening to @csallen's podcast, signed up for an IH account 6 months ago and making my first public post today.

I'm building Get into YC in public. It's a website that helps past Y Combinator applicants pay it forward and future Y Combinator applicants to learn from their experience. So far I've gathered over 50 applications from companies like Mixpanel, GitLab, Buffer, Simple Habit and Dropbox. These applications can be searched by company name, industry, batch, success and even by question.

Excited to share my journey with the IH community ๐Ÿ˜ŠโœŒ๏ธ

      Thanks for listening!

@csallen thanks for the invite. I'm a long time HN semi-lurker and love the IH posts that show up. The IH community inspired me to treat my hacks more liberal and not stress about them being successful or not. Let's see how that goes :-)

Hello Indiehacker's community, I'm Tien. I'm working as developer for a start up software company. I would rather expand my network and improve my technical skill through some news, blogs and course. With those things, I'm always willing to learn and share my experience also some tips or trick for everyone. "If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, let's go together!"

Hello, my name is Pedro Santos, founder of ENBYNYC.

We are an inclusive, dermatologist certified skincare brand that provides vegan, cruelty-free products and regimens to the transgender, non-binary and gender non conforming population.

Transgender and non-binary individuals who undergo hormone replacement therapy (HRT) face unique dermatological needs. As hormone use manifests in skin related side effects (testosterone creating an oilier canvas and estrogen leading to excessive dryness)

I'm here to learn from great people and reciprocate in any way I can.

    Below is my LinkedIn profile:
