If you're looking to start a group like this, post what you're looking for so that people can respond.
For best results, be sure to include important things like:
• What stage your project is at
• What type of project you're working on
• How often you'd like to meet
You'll find you have the best results if you post what you're looking for, then ask folks to "apply" to join your group. Don't make the mistake of giving the impression that you'll accept whoever responds, and don't just accept the first few folks that raise their hand; make it clear you're going to be a bit picky.
And then here's the important part... actually be picky. Pick the people for your group who are a good fit for you and for one another.

Ok, time for some real talk now...
There are a lot of people online that share their opinions and beliefs on these kinds of groups, but even though maybe they're a very successful person in the community you'll find out that they've only ever been part of a couple of groups themselves.
That's... just not helpful.
Me, I've helped create hundreds of these kinds of groups, and I've seen a lot of things that work and a lot of things that don't work. I'm just here to help and answer questions based on my experience. Not selling anything or pushing a point of view.
No, mastermind groups aren't magic. They don't do the work for you.
And no, of course, there's no one-size-fits-all model for the perfect mastermind group (or peer accountability group, or junto, or inner circle, or whatever buzzword you'd like to call it). Let's just help each other do our best.

Currently at the very beginning, validating my idea. First I did with a tweet and most recently a Twitter thread and blog post. I’d like to do a little more before committing.

An info product (think ebook + other bundles)

Posting here to see if there are other out there. Right now, @spindriftboi and I are accountability buddies and text each other once a day to check-in on our writing habits. Might be open to formalizing this a bit and adding more people doing some type of tech writing or blogging.
I see this phrase a lot "help hold you accountable to making steady progress" but in my experience entrepreneurs who are self starters who are able to make progress on their own. The value of a mastermind group is that it gives you a safe space to trial run ideas, allows you to get different perspectives on challenging situations--in particular pointing out blind spots and potential pitfalls with a contemplated course of action--and to help others.
