I learned to code over a year ago, and by networking, I joined forces with @sandeep1995 to grow Remotefront.io
There is over 3000 aggregated open jobs, majority are remote positions and last week, Remotefront.io made it's 1st 💵💵
Monetizing and growth is a mountain to climb. Any tips regarding grown, sales, marketing, branding or review of the product is welcome.
I was going to say maybe a focus on SEO would be the winner to drive traffic in the long term. Easier to sell with good traffic numbers.
But it seems like you've already made in roads in that respect.
Maybe there's an opportunity to focus on "digital nomad jobs" rather than remote?
Cool business, does you business make $$$ through referrals like an affiliate or on commission like a headhunter?
The reason why I ask is that would dictate how much effort and resources you put into growing this. Some things that come to mind are:
Content, lots and lots of content on the how to's and why remote work is the future. Distribute this everywhere and track the links and organic search results to your page. This effort is slow to start but gives you long term positioning. You can also cut up your content for various social media channels and really get the convo going on remote working being the future.
If you earn a commission like a headhunter, then on top of content, you can consider to hire a team of recruiter, like a sales team. This will help lock in companies looking for remote workers and build a better database of remote jobs and candidates.
Finally you can this a step further once you got your sales and growth channels locked in to work on better matching, building trust and increasing volumes. The crux of any marketplace business.
Hope this helps!
