Education is something I've always been passionate for. I love mentoring, giving back and making content about my journey into technology.

Started digging deeper into the concept of Microlearning, and that's when I came up with the idea for a micro-learning mobile app to teach people about technology, creator skills and entrepreneurship. Our app is called -https://www.theambitiousapp.com/

My co-founder and I started a Slack workspace exactly 2 months ago today.

We've been driving people to our landing page to collect emails to sign up for our waitlist. Instead of just waiting around for 2 months with those emails, we thought we should provide as much value possible pre-launch to start building community.

Yesterday I led a free workshop, How to design a landing page in Figma. We had over 80 people join the workshop. Mind you, we spent $0 on landing page. Over half were people outside my first degree network, so that was exciting to see.

I led everyone through designing a mobile app startup landing page using Figma in less than an hour. EVERYONE LOVED IT!

At the end of the workshop -- I showed the group our vision for the Ambitious App, a bite-sized, community driven learning experience for people who want to learn tech skills. I saw a few jaws drop at our UI. It was really heart warming to see.

I told the group we are raising money from investors and spending money out of our own pockets to build a product that we know needs to exist in the world. I offered them 50% of a 1 year subscription if they participated in our pre-sale.

Within 5 minutes, I had a handful of $30/yr early-access purchases hitting my Stripe account. Product validation? I think, yes!
