We're (Almost) There!

We did it! Sort of…

We finished our first in-person (Zoom counts, right?) pitch for GetSpeedBack to get into our local university’s accelerator, the FAU Tech Runway Venture Program.

It went really well. While it was just a pitch scrub for us to get feedback, the comments we received were really positive. We did make notes on things we could change and improve upon but overall the impression we got was that we had build a really solid foundation to make our case.

I was also really motivated by the fact that half of our meeting was spent discussing our platform and future opportunities for implementation!

Where do we go from here?

Next steps are to record a video of us giving the presentation as well as a one-minute elevator pitch. About a week after those are handed in we’ll have to do the elevator pitch live followed by seven minutes of question and answer.

Based on the discussion we had I feel like we’re prepared for the questions we’ll be asked. Things like…What do you want to get out of participating in the program? or How do you plan on dealing with competition?

Let’s Get Moving

Anyway, after a brief moment of elation and some relaxation, it’s time to get back to work. We’ll record our session this weekend and continue working on expanding the group of companies beta testing the GetSpeedBack platform.

Excited, anxious, motivated, pumped!

Very nice! If I remember correctly, HonorLock came out of that same startup accelerator and seemed to be doing very well (last I checked about a year ago).
