Learning to code is hard. Staying motivated is even harder. If you don't pay thousands of dollars for a live bootcamp, you're stuck with self-learning on Codeacademy, taking a Coursera course, or learning on some other online platform. Even then, you're just learning syntax and not applying your skills.
At Enlight, we believe the best way to learn is to build. Therefore, we just launched a different type of course. An affordable, two-week cohort to teach anyone to code by building projects. This course focuses on Web Development (HTML/CSS/JS) and gives learners the skills and confidence to build on their own.
This course is perfect for anyone who always wanted to learn to code, but had no idea where to start. Over the two weeks, learners will build three unique projects. In addition, learners have shared deadlines with others in the program, thereby keeping everyone accountable!
We've had tremendous success with the past few cohorts with over 150+ participants and 300+ project completions. I can't wait to launch this next course on October 18th.

I also wanted to mention that the IH community is amazing. I've been a lurker for a while, but I'm so excited to officially become a hacker :)

With so many free resources out there, how will you compete?
We actually have 40+ tutorials that are free for anyone to check out! (https://enlight.nyc/projects).
However, our hands-on, live course is paid. We're completely different than Coursera or Codeacademy in the sense that you build real projects in a community that's supportive and accountable.
this is EXACTLY what you should put on your website. Literally copy and paste this and just add it to your header. A much cleaner, clearer explanation of why you are different and why someone should sign up.
