πŸ‘€ We're featured on Betalist! Any tips for how to get the most out of it? #betalistnoob

We've just received an email that HackerStash is now featured on Betalist 😊 !

It's the first time I've had a product on there, does anyone have any tips about how to get the most out of it? I don't really have a big social media reach of anything as I'm not super active 😒

Also, they say 'you just got featured' in the email, but I'm not sure what that actually means, or really if it simply means 'listed'?

I'm just going to follow this post. We've filled out a profile to ensure we qualify (they have some rules around this) and were pre-approved, but I'm thinking of paying the money to pick our date to be featured.

Yeah, I think it's not been a huge driver of sign-ups or traffic for us (now that the dust has settled somewhat)...but maybe there's a long-tail that we'll experience. I imagine paying to choose a good day is worthwhile and that they probably push your post more on social, via the emails etc :) That said, we were happy to just wait it out, and it definitely brought in around 15-20 new signups so far!

That's awesome! Congratulations. Just gave you a like.

Did you do anything specific to get featured?

Not sure, I think maybe it's just random, hard to tell!

Hey, I've received the same mail just recently for Bee Informed

It's our first featuring anywhere so I'm also curious what will happen (if anything)

    I see, that's great.

Try to onboard as many users as you can and convert them into paying users.

It's more like hundreds of products get featured on Betalist but no users are actually using the product or interested in them

We have the waitlist for now but won't be onboarding for another month or so when we go live 😊. Betalist used to fill an important gap, and I think still does for plenty of products, but Producthunt's 'upcoming products'/waitlist thing definitely made for stiff competition!

        I see, that's great.

You definitely need to make a post about the progress of your product.

        Yeah, that's for sure.

Definitely! Going to do something in the next few days as we've just hit 100 waitlist subscribers so seemed like a good milestone to update everyone πŸ™‚
