Hey IH 👋
Just launched Theo on Product Hunt today, and wanted to share here since this community's been useful for thinking through the build.
The problem: every company has knowledge that only exists in one person's head — a pricing exception, an incident fix, why a process works a certain way. Nobody writes it down until it's too late, and it walks out the door the moment that person leaves. Existing AI tools just summarize documents that already exist; none of them go looking for what was never written down in the first place.
What Theo does: connects to Gmail, Drive, Slack, and Notion, extracts structured "skill cards" (owner, confidence score, gap flags), and — the part I'm most proud of — when it finds a gap, it automatically generates an interview and reaches out on Slack to capture that knowledge directly from the person who has it, before it's lost.
Where it's at: pre-revenue, fully built product, launching from a waitlist rather than open self-serve (deliberately — didn't have the budget to absorb unrelated free usage before validating demand). There's a live, fully interactive demo with no signup required if you want to poke around: meettheo.ai/demo
What I'd love feedback on: whether the "capture, not just search" framing actually lands, and if anyone here has run into this exact problem at their own company — genuinely curious what that looked like for you.
Would appreciate an upvote if you check it out, and even more, would love to hear what you think 🙏
