We're building easyLife, a local-services marketplace designed to make it easier for customers to discover professionals.
We're starting with Jaipur.
And we're starting with photographers.
Why?
Because we're trying to solve the supply problem first.
A marketplace with 50 categories but zero professionals in each category isn't really useful.
So instead of trying to launch everywhere, we're taking a narrower approach:
One city → one category → real professionals → real customers.
Our first target is to onboard photographers in Jaipur and understand:
What information professionals need to provide
How they showcase portfolios
What customers actually look for
How enquiries happen
What makes professionals continue using a marketplace
We're also experimenting with content, organic discovery and paid acquisition.
I'll document what works and what doesn't.
If you're building a marketplace, I'd be particularly interested in hearing how you solved the initial supply problem.
