🚀 We're trying out TinyLaunch with our new product, SaasToast!

Hey, Indie Hackers!

We just listed SaasToast on TinyLaunch, mostly because it was the easiest way to get started with a new product.

No big launch plan.

Just a working MVP and interest in seeing what happens when we try to announce a launch.

What’s SaasToast?

It's a tool that sends real-time motivational notifications to SaaS founders and indie makers.

You connect your product and receive simple success notifications like:
"Registration button clicked"
💸 "New trial period signup"

The idea is motivation as a service.

Most of us don't fail from bad ideas — we just lose momentum.

🧠 Why TinyLaunch?

Honestly, it took only 15 minutes to set up, and it didn't feel like a "big launch."

It’s perfect for testing if anyone cares before you overthink everything else. And it kind of forces you to start reaching out to other people.

We’re curious to see if launching early and imperfectly helps us build faster and find real users sooner.

💬 Vote for us!

Please give us an upvote on https://www.tinylaunch.com/launch/6828

We'd love to receive your feedback, questions, or even mild roasting.

If you’ve ever been stuck waiting for "the perfect launch moment," try posting something today.

That's literally what we did!

Marc from SaasToast
(Building momentum, one toast at a time.)

Love this, Marc , launching early and publicly is exactly how real momentum starts. SaasToast sounds like such a fun concept , that positive feedback loop can be powerful for founders who live off small wins.

I’ve noticed that early, imperfect launches often perform surprisingly well when shared in the right communities. Platforms like Reddit, where SaaS builders hang out and share progress, can give you both validation and early users organically , no need for a big marketing push.

If you ever decide to explore community traction or organic growth channels beyond TinyLaunch, I’d be happy to share some insights on what’s been working for founders lately. This kind of product could resonate deeply with maker and startup subreddits.

Congrats on shipping fast , that’s already half the battle.

Sounds great! Do you think you will do multiple smaller launches than one large one?

I was asking my personal network to upvote. It forced me to start talking about the project. BUT I will not do that more often and bother them to upvote again on another platform.

Congrats on the launch of SaasToast, it takes a lot of effort. wish you the best.

Thanks. We made it to the 3rd place!

Love this, Marc! 🎉 The idea of “motivation as a service” is brilliant — those tiny real-time wins are exactly what keep solo founders going when things get tough. I also appreciate how you launched early and imperfectly — it’s a great reminder that momentum matters more than a perfect launch.

The TinyLaunch approach seems smart: quick setup, real user feedback, and no overthinking. Curious — have you noticed which type of toast (signups, upgrades, milestones) drives the most engagement or excitement for founders?

Excited to see how SaasToast grows and evolves — this could become an essential part of every indie founder’s toolkit!

We personally track: Pricing Page visited, Package Selected, Registration Started, Signup done

In an early stage of a product you are alreadsy happy to see the real time push notification for the pricing page visit :-)

Love this approach — launching early, imperfectly, and letting momentum do the work. The concept of ‘motivation as a service’ is honestly brilliant — sometimes those tiny wins are exactly what keep founders going. SaasToast feels like the digital version of a high five when you’re grinding alone at 1 a.m. Excited to see how early users respond and how it evolves!

Really like what you’re doing with SaaSToast — building a clean, no-fluff space where founders can actually learn from other SaaS builders instead of recycled advice is a great wedge. The newsletter-style delivery makes it approachable and habit-forming.

Two ideas that could compound fast:

    • Add micro case studies (“From $0 → $1K MRR in 3 months” with 3 bullet lessons).

    • Let readers filter by stage (idea, launch, growth) so each issue hits closer to home.

Curious — what’s the activation that best predicts a long-term subscriber: first click-through to a story, reading 3+ issues, or sharing one with a friend?

P.S. I’m with Buzz — we build conversion-focused Webflow sites and pragmatic SEO for SaaS and product launches. Happy to share a quick 10-point GTM checklist if useful.

Congrats on the launch of SaasToast!

I'm really curious about your mention of using "TinyLaunch" for this. I'm also a solo dev preparing for my own product launch soon, and I'm currently exploring different strategies.

How are you finding the TinyLaunch process so far? What made you choose it over a big-bang launch on somewhere like Product Hunt?

    1. 1

For me it forced me to start talking about the project. We actually ended up at 3rd place with 40 votes. Which is not the world but it made us two developers start talking about the project with our personal network. I think at the very early stage our network would be too small for product hunt - also without a clear strategy it would probably go nowhere.

Love this approach, Marc! 🚀 “Motivation as a service” is such a clever idea — those little wins can really keep founders going. Also appreciate the honesty about launching early instead of waiting for perfect. Going to check out SaasToast and TinyLaunch now! 👏

Love this, Marc motivation as a service” is such a clever angle

I actually help early SaaS founders get traction on Reddit and niche communities after their Tiny Launch or Product Hunt drops. Curious have you tested how Saas Toast resonates in founder-focused subreddits or indie maker spaces yet?

I’ve seen a few tools like yours blow up once the right audience sees the “small wins” value you’re offering

Hey Marc, I love the simplicity behind this approach no overcomplicated launch, just a solid MVP and real validation. That “motivation as a service” idea hits home for a lot of solo founders who need those small wins to stay consistent.

Launching through TinyLaunch was a smart move too frictionless, fast, and community-driven. I manage Reddit marketing campaigns for SaaS founders, and what you’re doing here is exactly the kind of authentic early traction strategy that tends to perform well in startup and productivity subreddits.

I’ll drop you an upvote and share a few feedback points once I’ve tried SaasToast myself. Keep shipping this has serious potential for community-led growth.

Really interesting direction. Curious — what inspired you to start this?

    1. 1

Around 12 years ago with our first SaaS which we sold 5 years later we were sending ourselves SMS for every new trial, subscription, upgrade (and also downgrade/churn). saastoast is the modern version of it which we build because google analytics and similar tools just don't make you feel the momentum which will motivate you keep working day and night.

    2. 1

Hey Marc, this is a really refreshing launch simple, authentic, and community first. Motivation as a service is a strong hook that instantly connects with founders who live for those micro wins

I actually help early SaaS builders like you drive real traction through Reddit communities especially in founder, productivity, and indie maker spaces. The right positioning on those subreddits can turn casual interest into loyal beta users fast

If you’re open to it, I can share a few subreddit-specific insights or angles that could help SaaS Toast gain early visibility and organic feedback loops. You’ve got something people will rally behind once they see it
Happy to DM some ideas if you're open

  13. 1

Love this, Marc launching early and learning fast is the best kind of momentum. Most founders build great tools but struggle with visibility after launch, not the product itself

I help SaaS founders get that early traction by positioning their story inside the right Reddit communities where real users hang out and give feedback that actually moves the needle

If you’re testing user acquisition channels for SaasToast, I’d be happy to share a few proven Reddit growth frameworks that can help you attract organic users fast. Happy to DM some ideas if you’re open

    1. 1

Thanks a lot! Agree. getting early visibility and feedback is harder than shipping itself... since we have AI ;-)

DM me on any channel :-)

      1. 1

Appreciate your reply on the post you’re absolutely right, getting early visibility and feedback is the real challenge most builders face after launch.

I actually help founders position their AI or SaaS products inside the right Reddit communities where early users hang out it’s how I’ve helped similar products gain traction and organic signups without ads

If you’d like, I can take a quick look at your product and share a short community plan that could help you build visibility and get consistent feedback from real users.

Would you be open to that

I love the idea of motivation as a service.

You should also consider launching SaasToast on businesshunt.co; it’s a great place to reach more founders and early adopters who’d connect with your message about building momentum.

Thx, will take a look for sure when our learnings from the first launch are done.
