After months of building URSOR… the time has come… our browser for kids is ready to launch! 🙌 URSOR is now live on the App Store!
We've launched on Product Hunt and would really appreciate some support by upvoting and leaving a comment!
71% of parents say their child age 5 to 11 uses a tablet to access the internet, and out of the hundreds of parents we spoke to… not a single parent is happy with the current solution for internet access for their kids.
Parents have voiced their clear concerns about the content their kids are accessing, the dark UX patterns that prioritize clicks and ad revenue, and their privacy. ❌
With URSOR, we are on a journey to build a kid's first internet experience and puts parents in control of their kid’s online experience.🚀
We've taken an MLP approach ❤️ (Minimum loveable product) to make this a fun, and educational experience for children.
We are iterating and growing URSOR every day and would love any feedback or thoughts you have!
The product looks really good! I don't have kids but I see the niche where you're going. It will grow in time, I'm sure. Good luck with your launch.
Thank you! Yes we are very early with lots to learn and room to grow.
It's been a great journey building this!
This is hopefully a fantastic starting point and one which solves a real problem for parents and kids.
Looking forward to how it evolves over the coming years!
Cant wait for what we have to come 😉

How do I teach you personally?
Thanks.

Looks like an interesting product. Who is doing the content curation for the search?
The landing page feels a bit buggy on iOS, specially the carousels. The auto paging in the carousel is also frustrating.
I am also surprised by massive cookie banner on a site that advertises a privacy conscious product. I am assuming this has to do with the analytics. If so, there are banner free option out there that are also more true to the privacy conscious audience.
