What about a notification bar/modal as a service?

Well, the first question is: if you have a website and you want to display a notification bar (or even a modal for a seasonal promo, or something like that), do you just add the code, then remove it when you don't need it anymore?

Services that offer this (and more):
Example 1: https://optinmonster.com/
Example 2: https://smartnotificationbar.com/

To be honest, if it is a simple div with some content and a link, this doesn't take that much longer for a developer. But:

  • With more and more no-code tools
  • If you want pre-defined styles
  • Maybe some analytics for each "notification"

I could see some value in it.

What do you think about it?

I would say that there are quite a lot of options for this @llimabr. Not discouraging but I would rather motivate you to come up with some kind of USP- like offering statistical data in the form graphs to the users. That might help you create a tool that stands out.

Great input @harshvijay! Didn't think about that!
