When everyone has access to the same AI tools,
the tools themselves stop being an advantage.
So what matters then?
taste and judgment
problem understanding
asking the right questions
knowing what “good” actually looks like
AI lowers the barrier to entry,
but raises the bar for quality.
Now anyone can generate something decent in seconds.
Which means value shifts to:
direction
selection
refinement
The paradox is:
AI makes everyone faster,
but the winners are still the ones who think better.
So what matters more now:
knowing how to use AI, or knowing how to think without it?
