What Actually Happens Before I Post Anything on Reddit

Most people think Reddit marketing is just writing a post and publishing

It’s not.

Before I post anything for a founder, I do this:
1️⃣ Read subreddit rules (yes, all of them)
2️⃣ Study top posts + comment patterns
3️⃣ Identify what doesn’t get downvoted
4️⃣ Write a value-first post that fits the community tone
5️⃣ Stay active in the comments after posting

This is why some posts get ignored…
And others spark real conversations

Reddit rewards preparation, not shortcuts

If you want someone to handle this entire process for you, from research to posting to engagement, that’s exactly what I do.

Solid process. Step 3 is underrated - most people study what works but ignore what gets killed. The downvote patterns reveal what a community actually rejects, not just what it tolerates. One thing I'd add: timing matters more than people think. Same post can flop at 2pm and hit front page at 7am depending on the subreddit's timezone.
