What actually slows down website building more than code

When building websites or MVPs, I’ve noticed the biggest slowdowns rarely come from coding.

They usually come from:
• Figuring out what pages are really needed
• Writing the first version of content
• Repeating the same setup work for every project
• Making lots of “small changes” that quietly add up

Most tools help you build faster, but not decide faster.

Lately, I’ve been thinking about how AI could help earlier in the process — before templates, layouts, or components.

Imagine starting with:
– The goal of the website
– The audience
– The one action that matters

Then letting AI assist with:
– Site structure
– First-draft content
– Page setup

This turns website building into more of an editing and refining process instead of starting from zero every time.
