Friday and Saturday movie nights are important!
Newsletter: Flickpulse
After a week of working late nights, it's finally the weekend, and I'm looking forward to relaxing and watching some movies and TV series. However, I know it's easy to waste time searching for movies, only to get bored in the middle of one and realize it's not what I wanted.
This can be incredibly frustrating and ruin the entire weekend. That's why it's essential to have a good movie in mind that's worth sacrificing my weekend time for.
My newsletter and podcast aim to assist my audience in discovering the finest movies spanning across all 10 genres. Each week, they will receive an email that features a selection of 7 distinct movies or TV shows that they can indulge in over the weekend, ranging from horror, rom-com, action, and beyond.
I aspire to broaden my subscriber base and reach out to a wider audience. And this is how I'm going to do it...
I have about 7 routes to get this 100 subscribers. And here are they;
Posting articles
Sharing articles on different platforms, such as Reddit, blogs, Pinterest, Medium, and LinkedIn, is an excellent approach to broaden my audience. Rather than merely reposting old content, it is advisable to craft fresh pieces that tackle prevalent issues and offer readers useful insights. This strategy can effectively address common pain points and deliver valuable information to my target audience.
Reaching out
I am seeking subscribers on Reddit who relish discussing and watching movies as a means of unwinding after a long day. I intend to locate them by scrutinizing relevant posts and comments and initiating direct contact. Furthermore, I aim to launch an economical advertising campaign on Reddit.
Using Trends
Creating content, and posting visual content on social media every day by connecting the trend with the product I'm selling. If all goes well, I can get a good reach in posts and get awareness.
Collaborating
Collaborating with micro-influencers who have under 10k followers is valuable as they have a strong connection with their audience and understand their preferences.
Pinning and Replying
I was told that a good strategy is to pin your best tweet to your Twitter profile and respond to people with large followings with valuable and engaging replies. And for some reason, it is working perfectly, guess I should do this consistently for 3 weeks.
Spreading words with friends
I plan to try a straightforward strategy, though I'm uncertain if my pride will permit it. Regardless, I aim to contact my friends and urge them to share my newsletters with their contacts. It's akin to a domino effect, and I'm convinced it can disseminate rapidly if they watch any of the suggested movies from my list.
Quora
Using this "site:quora.com keyword "1 answer" "k views" I found the best questions with high engagement and answered by 1. I already getting some eyes on my newsletter in my first answer. One thing you should also keep in mind is that, don't spam with links.
It is crucial to watch the movie or TV series to ensure the success of this plan. The movies that I have included are of exceptional quality, undoubtedly offering satisfaction. However, the challenge lies in actually taking the first step to watching the suggested movies.
The objective is simple: Gain at least 70 subscribers over three weeks and strive to provide value in each newsletter.
I'll come back in three weeks and explain the outcome. Moreover, feel free to share any additional tips or ideas I should include in this challenge.
