What am I doing wrong with my landing page?

When I look at the landing page of my ytbe.one product, people say that at first it's hard to understand what the product does. So I'm going to make some changes to the landing page and I want to start by changing the title and subtitle because I don't think they are good enough.

I have a few examples of headlines and sub titles, I'd like you to give me feedback on which one you think best describes the product (the problem and how the product solves it).

Before that, I want to show you the current bad title and subtitle.

Default Title: Open YouTube links directly in the mobile app, easily increase your engagements!

Default Subtitle: Ytbe.one enables your viewers to quickly and easily interact with your videos by opening YouTube links directly in the mobile app. This way, your videos will get more engagement and your number of likes, comments and subscribers will increase.

Here are the new titles and sub titles I intend to use.

Title:

  1. Turn Your YouTube Links into Engagement
  2. Share Your YouTube Videos More Effectively
  3. Increase your YouTube interactions!
  4. You are missing out on YouTube interactions!

Sub titles:

  1. Break Free from Browser Limitations and Unlock the True Potential of Your YouTube Videos with Ytbe.one
  2. Standard YouTube links you share on social media apps will open in the browser instead of the mobile app, so users won't be able to like, comment or subscribe to your channel. This results in a huge loss of engagement. Ytbe.one overcomes this problem by opening YouTube links directly in the mobile app, preventing you from missing out on YouTube interactions.

I am waiting for your feedback on this issue, thank you very much in advance for your support.

    Here's what I would do:

    1. Big URL input bar on the page on the first fold of the page. (Currently on mobile devices, your "video/channel link" input in way below, and it's very thin)
This URL/link bar should be the main attention grabbing element of the landing page.

    2. Rather than asking to signup to get the link, it's better to give them a publicly accessible dashboard for the created URL.
Example: for my youtube.com/xyz, if you are providing ytbe.one/abc, then the stats for that URL can be made visible in ytbe.one/abc/info (or something like that) and in the info page you can show the signup buttons.
Here your CTAs should be in such a way that they should feel that if they don't signup this info page will remain public. And to make it private info page, they can just signup.
(For signup, you should use Google Login or any other social logins - I have not checked if you already have that)

Here the aim is to give the user the taste of your product. If they really find the value, you will retain the customer.

Then on the info/stats/dashboard page you can show upgrade to XX Plan (Like some stats will be locked, and to unlock it, a plan needs to be purchased)

    P.S.
I do realise this requires code level changes to change the flow of the application :)

I have read your landing page twice and I'm still unsure what your tool does (but it could be that I'm not in your target audience).

Your hero section is confused. A user can click on "get started" which takes them to a pricing page, they can click "learn more" to an about section and then further down, there's an input box for a youtube link. I don't know where I'm supposed to click.

Here's how I would fix it:

Keep the input box for the youtube link and change the button text to an action. Something like "Instantly fix engagement" (again, you'll need to play around with this as I'm not entirely sure what it does). REMOVE the current text to something better.

    Hi Tarik,

I agree with @ccasey - What's the one thing your users really want to get from your product? Probably something close to headline number 1, but I don't see a sub-headline which really matches that.

Think about your headlines and other text in the way the user will be thinking about what they want. This article by Matt Lerner is a great way to see how to think about language from the perspective of your customer:

Thanks so much for your feedback, the article will really help me.

You need to come up with a hook. To do that, tell the user the value your app provides in the heading then address any objections they have in the sub text.

Sorry, but I'm not sure what your app does - it's not really been a problem for me if a link opens in the browser but here's an example the value is "higher rate of conversion" but objection could be your app is too much:

    Don't compromise on conversion!

Ensure YouTube links open natively—top-tier functionality, budget-friendly price.

Hope this gives you some ideas, good luck
