What analytics software do you use for your saas?
We have a web based app (reflection.app) and I want to get better insights for monthly reporting into certain events, like accounts created, entries created, premium account growth etc... any recommendations?
Integrate event tracking via Segment (free)
For tracking activity of all users, send the events (in Segment) to Google Analytics/Amplitude/Mixpanel, and track what a group of user does in there.
For tracking a single user activity, send events (in Segment) to Intercom, and track what this guy does in there.
For pulling out stats from your own database, try Metabase (have to self host), or Retool.
For tracking paid subscriptions, revenue growth etc, ChartMogul has a free plan now. Alternatives are Profitwell (free) and Baremetrics (paid).

Hi @daverad, I've built https://getinsights.io in order to provide exactly the service you're asking for. If you have a bit of coding experience you can make it track even things like how far a user scrolls on your page, or for how long a certain part of the page is visible on their screens. I would be glad to help you set it up if you need it. Plus, our analytics tool is cookies-free, so you don't need to put on a banner on your website!

DataDog. You can visualize any data in the datadog (by custom metrics).
