What Analytics Would You Want To See As A Blogger?

A couple of friends and I at Georgia Tech are working on an analytics tool that allows bloggers to find out what their readers are highlighting/ copying on each post.

The idea is for readers to highlight/upvote/share specific parts of content they enjoy so that the writers can find out what works on each article and better serve their audience.

We will be launching next month for a small group of content creators and want to find out what analytics would you want to see as a blogger?

This is a clever idea! Good luck with it.

If I were a blogger I'd want to see:

    • What content people are landing on, and where they came from
    • What content leads to more engagement with the site (more page views, or is associated with return visitors)
    • What content has higher engagement with my monetary conversions (links to product/app page, clicks to mobile App Store, ad clicks, affiliate clicks, whatever it is)
