What are all the do's and dont's of building public from a founder perspective

I have been building a AI- blog writer with branch level data which helps branches to build local authority and improve their Local AEO and SEO. I am stuck with getting pilot or POC users , when learning about how to ? came to know the concept of building public and as part of the learning journey I came across Indiehackers and reddit . I tried Reddit first and its too much restricted and moderated without any clear format then . And now here I am trying building public in Indie Hacker. My question is

What are all the do's and dont's of building public from a founder perspective ( please share your thoughts if you have already done it ) is there a platform specific blue print to be used.
