What are best practices for building in public?

Hello IH Fam!

I'm about to break ground on a new digital product I'm developing; I've decided I want to build in public and looking for advice on best practices.

The product is a HubSpot website theme that will allow HubSpot customers to build their website on HubSpot CMS without code!

I will be designing and coding the website theme from scratch and it will be available in HubSpot's Asset Marketplace on Feb 15th 2022.

This project will consist of marketing, sales and coding so I think it's an awesome project to BIP and show others ALL of the aspects involved in taking a digital product to market!

A few ideas I have for sharing my journey are as follows:

• Describe the product, tell the story on my personal blog
• Write 3 progress updates per week on my personal blog (share to Twitter, IH and LinkedIn
• Screenshots of the product as I build
• Loom screen recordings of Work In Progress features
• Asking for feature ideas and feedback in HubSpot-related Facebook groups I'm a part of

I've never done Building In Public before so any Building In Public MUST-DOs, tips or best-practices that I might be overlooking would be greatly appreciated.
