I'd suggest using an incorporation agency. They have the best knowledge on new company filings for different states. They can also advise you on the type of business to file for. And if starting a C-corp, they can help determine your initial share volume and price. We used BizFiling when we incorporated our business and they were instrumental in getting everything we need include our FEIN application with IRS. We have continued to keep them as our Agent as well and they handle all tasks related to our company expansion like filing our foreign qualification when we established an office in Texas. My advice is to be careful w/ templated docs. Legal documents and contracts are reflections of dynamic decision-making. Forming a business, creating an appropriate entity, and laying the groundwork to support your business aren't 'fill-in-the-blank' exercises.

First decide on the key "inputs". What do you want to do? Who will be involved? For instance, you may not need to go to the time/effort/EXPENSE of forming a Delaware C-Corp, which entails added cost/time/responsibilities vs. an LLC or other structures.

Once you've determined the key parameters around who will be involved, what each party is bringing to the table, and what your goals are, you're in a better place to assess the degree of professional/legal support you require to formalize your business.
