What are signals in Valentina Forms?

Valentina Forms makes use of the signals system for object communication. This article introduces signals.

Forms contain hierarchies of objects (also called widgets), with sub-objects contained within layouts. Forms and layouts themselves are also objects. Any Form object can have properties common to the object. Almost all objects have a Name property.
