What are some good shipment solutions for a small business?
Hey All, currently I started selling items online. I'm selling about 4 to 5 units a day which is not much. I do shipment via USPS but I find it somewhat expensive. Currently shipping from the Post Office is about 4 dollars per shipment sometimes 7 if is in the west cost.
I heard about 3PL (third-party logistics provider) but not sure if is a good solution for such a small amount of orders. I was thinking about just buying stamps but I feel like this will affect my customers since I won't be able to provide a tracking number.
What are good solutions for handling shipment? Should I keep using the Post Office?
What are you using for an ecommerce platform? Many platforms will sell you shipping labels and often grant you discounts that are better than buying direct from the carrier.
@JesseBethke I'm using Etsy, although Etsy printing label claims to be 30% less than the post office, I find it to be somewhat expensive. around 4 to 5 bucks.
