What are some killer tips to grow my list? A blog dedicated to helping Startups build and cope with remote life.

Hey All,

I've been working on this project since February and wanted to share it here as there is some powerful pieces that will help IHers starting their journey.

World Class Remote - Helping startup teams cope with remote life. Read articles about productivity, time management, team culture, mental health, and leadership.

Since its inception:

  • πŸš€ 17 articles in total + guest posts where I've written approximately 21,600 words.
  • 😎 I've had 2 guest posts on Simple Programmer, both of which were rapidly pushed through their content pipeline.
  • πŸ˜‡ I've now been labeled as a Thought Leader in investment decks for the startup I work for.
  • πŸ’ Personally, I've felt it has grown my personal brand and how people respect me.
  • πŸ™ It provides an outlet, almost a meditation, to help others with all of the knowledge I've gained from the last 8 years.
  • 😬 I have a list of 27 members so far, I was expecting that the guest posts would be a little more effective.

Yesterday I released a new post Take action and start building your SaaS business today which breaks down all of the detailed steps I took to build my latest MVP SaaS in 10 days using these technologies. πŸ”₯

  • Laravel (Passport, Horizon, Forge)
  • QuickAdminPanel
  • Landen
  • Digital Ocean

My problem, I'd love to grow my email list further.

Question: If you saw this site would you add your email? If not then what would stop you, I'd love your insight πŸ˜€

Thank you for your time.

Hi @mattsmithies, thanks for sharing these insights and congrats on all the success you've had so far.

I think a good way to grow your email list would be to use your most recent post "Take action and start building your SaaS business today " as a Lead Magnet for people to sign up to your email address. You could package it into a PDF or a course or create a completely new Lead Magnet on another specific problem you know how to solve.

I did this last week with a course I created and was able to get 120+ leads and their email addresses.

I wrote an IH post about it here: https://bit.ly/3cRaNqr

I hope this helps. Keep up the great work!

You're welcome my man. I think you are in a great position to capitalize on growing your list. Providing value up front is always a great way to build trust and long term relationships. I think this is why high quality lead magnets work so well.
