I want to connect with some communities of freelancers and sidepreneurs for collaboration and for a showcase of side projects! What are some that come to mind?
Looks interesting! There are LOTS of people doing side projects and working as freelancers these days in all kinds of industries. Shouldn't be too hard to find a good variety of them out there.

I would look at posts by people like Gary V, Noah Kagan and others who talk about side hustles. Literally TONS of opportunity out there.
Also use searches like this to find the industries to reach out to influencers in those fields (https://www.sidehustlenation.com/ideas/, https://www.entrepreneur.com/article/293954, https://investmentu.com/the-best-side-hustles-for-2020/?gated=true and I'm sure there are tons of other lists out there).
